Nintendo released a firmware update 1.4 for the DSi.

This update add Facebook photo upload, a faster camera and of course some increased security against  flashcards.

If you are a homebrew fan and still waiting for a DSi to be homebrew compatible before making your import shopping list for the holidays, then rest assured, that day might just be in the near future with your prefered cart cyclods evolution. The team at Cyclops announced they have a working test setup which run cyclods evolution on the DSi. Check this video out, but still there few work to go though, so stay tuned.

Seems homebrews fans gotta have to wait for long to get their flashcarts to load in the new nintendo DSi. Well at least so far none of the existing flashcarts work with the dsi according to ahtin at hacken.cc. Failed cards are :
